Delete Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)

Open CoParent AI and sign in.
Go to Settings → Account.
Scroll to “Delete Account” at the bottom of the page.
Type DELETE to confirm, then choose Delete My Account.

Your account and data are erased immediately and you are signed out. Any active subscription is cancelled at the same time.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@coparentsai.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify ownership of the address and complete deletion within 30 days, usually within a few business days.

What gets deleted

Your profile (name, email, phone, timezone, case reference, jurisdiction)
All messages you sent or received, including attachments and AI analysis
Shared expenses, receipts, calendar events and incident timeline entries
Evidence vault uploads and any generated reports or court exports
Notification preferences and registered devices
Your subscription record (billing is cancelled at the same time)

What may be retained, and why

Your co-parent's copy of shared conversations

Messages are a shared, tamper-evident record between two parents. Deleting your account removes your access and your profile, but the other parent keeps their copy of the conversation they took part in — the same way deleting your email account does not erase messages you sent to someone else.

Payment records

Stripe retains invoices and payment records for the period required by tax and financial regulations. We do not store card numbers at any time.

Backups

Residual copies may persist in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten automatically.

Before you delete: if you may need your records for a legal matter, export them first. Go to Court Export and generate a packet — once your account is deleted we cannot recover anything.
